in case you have no idea what the title means,don't worry,so do i.haha.
this is one fine saturday afternoon with no other things to do(after doin up cleaning n sweepin:which is therapeutic after plain typing n looking at figures)
so i m switching channels(mtv,channel v,axn,blah blah)
i noticed this old ancient movie currently showing over ntv7.not knowing the title,i jus watch it.
not bad for the picture quality,very clear(unlike others that are yellowish or grainy)
male characters have really sharp slanting eyebrows with black black eyeliner around their eyes(like a rocker).those reali bad characters looks bad(makeup with more eyeliner n eyeshadow).
for female characters,well i m only mesmerised by the lead female character,very pretty,big eyes,small mouth,of course lots o eyeliner on the top lid o her eyes(also!),dewy skin,the prettiest of the lot.
the settings or lanscape are (well....wat can u expect?) handpainted
it's a kungfu flick with not-that-smooth kungfu moves,over the top acting,plot circulating on revenge n brotherhood n sacrifice n revenge.oh yeah love.cliche ending.
however this is such a breather from all jackie-chan-kungfu-movies,i actuali enjoy watching it despite the fact i didn't knu much chinese(their slang is so different).good enough to waste two hours not thinking bout anything.
note:onli good for those big fans of oldies movies
good for some nostalgic moments
i still prefer english movies...at least i understand what they are saying
